《加州旅馆》到底在写什么？

其实这个问题目前出现的版本很多，有人认为歌曲中的加州旅馆是真实存在的，而这之中还有戒毒所、精神病院等说法...

谁也没有盖棺定论，但最受欢迎的解释是：

歌词虽然描述的是主人公在奢华而诡异的旅馆中的黑暗探索，实际上是讽刺二十世纪八十年代，音乐家之流的享乐主义状态。

《加州旅馆》中那成经典的吉他旋律、诡异莫名的歌词内容、感人心弦的悲世情怀，使它蒙上了一层神秘的色彩，成为传世经典。

古巴人声组合 Vocal Sampling 演绎纯人声版的《加州旅馆》。
