Secretary-General LI Baodong Meets with Dr. Rudolf Staudigl, President and CEO of Wacker Chemie AG

Secretary-General LI Baodong met with Dr. Rudolf Staudigl, President and CEO of Wacker Chemie AG on August 28, 2018.

LI expressed his gratitude to Wacker Chemie AG, a member of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), for its support for the BFA, and introduced the further development of the BFA in five major areas of science and technology innovation, education, culture, health and media, as well as the plan of holding special conferences this year. LI said that the BFA, as a high-end platform for dialogue between governments and businesses, is willing to provide great support for member companies to carry out exchanges and cooperation.

Dr. Rudolf Staudigl said that Wacker Chemie AG, as a centuries-old German chemical company, looks forward to strengthening cooperation with the BFA on topics such as energy.
