Second, what is your reaction on the statement yesterday from the UK, France and Germany calling on the South China Sea claimants to respect the arbitration ruling of 2016 as well as the rules-based framework laid out in the UNCLOS?

問：第一個問題，特朗普總統稱，中美將於今天（30日）就經貿問題通話，你能否證實並提供更多細節？中方是否會就通話情況發佈消息？第二個問題，英國、法國和德國昨天發表聯合聲明，呼籲南海聲索方尊重2016年南海仲裁案裁決以及《聯合國海洋法公約》規定的基於規則的海洋秩序，中方對此有何回應？

A:Regarding your first question, some journalists asked similar questions at the press conference in the Commerce Ministry yesterday, and the spokesperson already responded. What I can tell you is that the trade teams on the two sides have remained in effective communication.

答：關於第一個問題，昨天在商務部舉行的記者會上，不少記者問過類似的問題，商務部新聞發言人已就此作出過回應。我能告訴你的是，雙方經貿團隊一直保持着有效溝通。

As to the second question, with the concerted efforts of China and ASEAN countries, the situation in the South China Sea remains stable and is improving. The parties directly concerned stay in dialogue and communication to properly handle and resolve disputes.

關於第二個問題，當前在中國和東盟國家的共同努力下，南海局勢保持穩定並不斷向好發展。南海問題直接當事國就妥善處理和解決爭議保持着對話溝通。

While implementing the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) in a comprehensive and effective manner, China and ASEAN countries have vigorously advanced and made important progress in the consultations on a code of conduct in the South China Sea (COC).

中國和東盟國家在全面有效落實《南海各方行爲宣言》的框架下，積極推進“南海行爲準則”磋商，並不斷取得重要進展。

We, the regional countries, have the will, wisdom and capability to properly resolve the South China Sea issue and achieve long-term stability, development and prosperity in this region.

地區國家有意願、有智慧、有能力妥善處理好南海問題，實現本地區長久的穩定、發展和繁榮。

On the other hand, however, some non-regional countries made unwelcome remarks and deliberately highlighted tensions in disregard of the efforts by regional countries to safeguard peace and stability in the South China Sea. China opposes that.

在此形勢下，一些域外國家無視地區國家維護南海和平穩定的努力，對南海有關問題指手畫腳，蓄意渲染緊張局勢，中方對此表示反對。

We urge those countries to look at the South China Sea issue objectively, stop making negative comments, and create an enabling environment for regional countries to properly handle maritime disputes and advance cooperation.

中方敦促有關國家客觀理性看待南海問題，停止發表負面言論，爲地區國家妥處海上分歧、推進海上合作營造良好氛圍。

Regarding the specifics in the statement, China's position remains clear and unchanged.

至於三國聲明提到的一些具體問題，中方的立場非常明確，沒有改變。
