Call for Papers for the 2019 Annual Conference of CWE

12–13 January 2019

Beijing, China

With strengthened academic orientation and a new team of co-editors, China & World Economy will hold the 2019 Annual Conference to encourage both local and international academic research on the Chinese economy. We welcome all high-quality submissions related to China but preferably in the following areas (based on JEL codes):

D. Microeconomics

E. Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics

F. International Economics

G. Financial Economics

H. Public Economics

I. Health, Education, and Welfare

J. Labor and Demographic Economics

L. Industrial Organization

O. Economic Development, Innovation, Technological Change, and Growth

Q. Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics | Environmental and Ecological Economics

R. Urban, Rural, Regional, Real Estate, and Transportation Economic

Submission Process and Deadline

Submission start date: 10 November 2018

Submission deadline: 15 December 2018

We invite interested authors to submit their papers through https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cwe and select “Conference” when choosing submission type. Manuscripts are encouraged to be prepared following CWE Author Guidelines: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/1749124x/homepage/forauthors.html.

Papers submitted to the conference will be reviewed by the CWE co-editor team. Selected papers will be invited to present and receive comments at the conference sessions. Upon authors’ permission, selected papers will be considered for publication in CWE after peer review process following the CWE policy.
