What we look for in Shell?:

For the Shell Graduate Programme, you must be in your final year of study or have graduated from a recognised University.

For a Shell Assessed Internship, you must be in your penultimate year of study at a recognised University. Depending on business requirements, we may be able accommodate Industrial Placements or year- long internships within the Assessed Internship programme. This should be stated on your CV prior to submitting your application.

For our all our Technical roles, you should have obtained or be studying towards a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. For our Commercial and Corporate roles, you should have obtained or be studying towards a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

There are no specific academic requirements for grades at A level or GCSE equivalents, however we do expect candidates to have a strong academic record.

Some of our business areas may require a Masters or a PhD level and this will be stated on this page.

We are looking for ambitious students in their final year of study or those who have recently graduated, to help us tackle the energy challenge.

As part of our process to identify remarkable individuals, we use a competency-based assessment methodology which focuses on Capacity, Achievement and Relationships (CAR).
