首次承認！特魯多宣佈加拿大正在經歷第二波新冠疫情

9月23日晚，加拿大總理特魯多發表全國講話，宣佈“加拿大不是剛開始第二波新冠疫情，而是正在經歷第二波疫情。”

特魯多說，加拿大的四個最大的省-阿爾伯塔省，卑詩省，安大略省和魁北克省正處於第二波疫情當中。

這是加拿大聯邦政府首次公開承認加拿大正在經歷第二波新冠疫情。

此外，特魯多警告道，今年加拿大秋季的疫情很可能比春季的疫情嚴重得多。

對比疫情數據顯示，加拿大今年春季疫情形勢十分嚴峻，在3月13日，宣佈封鎖的當天，只有47例新增新冠病例，然而僅僅昨天一天，在全國範圍內新增了上千例新冠病例。

然而，特魯多樂觀的表示，雖然不能改變今天甚至明天的新冠確診病例數，但是可以改變十月以及冬天的疫情形勢。

特魯多還強調，加拿大正處於疫情的“十字路口”。

另外，他強調了佩戴口罩和遵守社交隔離的必要性，並表示現在不是參加聚會的時候，疫情在感恩節前不會結束，但是如果大家一起努力抗疫，可能會在聖誕節前控制住疫情，在聖誕節實現家庭團聚。

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the country was in the throes of a second wave of COVID-19， and warned that the situation was set to become much worse than it was during the first wave in March。 

Trudeau said the country “is at a crossroads” as a second wave emerges in four large provinces。

He also warned： “We‘re on the brink of a fall that could be much worse than the spring。”

美國約翰斯·霍普金斯大學數據顯示，截至北京時間9月24日18時，加拿大確診新冠肺炎14.9萬餘例，死亡病例超9千例。

Canada has recorded a total of just under 150，000 coronavirus cases， and almost 9，300 deaths， according to Johns Hopkins University。
