近年来，越来越多的游客前往埃及旅行，国内游客也不例外。据埃及驻华大使馆的数据显示，2017年以来，中国已成为埃及第四大旅游客源国。China has became the fourth largest source of tourist to Egypt since 2017.

现在，只要在网上搜一下“埃及旅行”，就能看到一篇篇充满文艺气息的埃及旅行攻略。

而这些攻略普遍拥有的一大元素，就是游客骑行骆驼的标志性照片：一名看起来谈吐优雅的美女，在落日的余晖下，骑着骆驼行走在金字塔前，而美女和骆驼的嘴角均处于自然上扬的状态......

这种看似毫无违和感的照片在很多人脑中早已根深蒂固，久而久之，我们便有了一种美女与骆驼共同穿越7000年时间隧道，在沙漠中和谐相处互惠互利的美好印象......

那这样的诗与远方值得去体验吗？

对此，我们的调查员特地去埃及走了一趟，一路辗转吉萨、萨卡拉和卢克索，结果发现：美女与骆驼之间的“岁月静好”只是一种假象！

调查发布后，已经有媒体结合该调查进行了跟踪报道：

在调查员走访的景点中，很多动物被迫在烈日之下等待下一位游客，没有食物和水，也没有遮阳设施。

即便双腿发软、倒地不起，这些动物仍然得不到休息，只能在鞭子的抽打下，拼死拼活地拉完一波又一波游客。

这匹马因为筋疲力尽而瘫倒在地。

但车夫还是一遍又一遍地抽打她，强迫她站起身来。

尽管她在倒地过程中严重受伤，但还是很快被安排继续拉车。而下一位付钱上车的游客，并不会知道这匹马此前经历了什么......

在Birqash骆驼市场，调查员看到骆驼一边尖叫一边被人用棍子殴打。

施虐者中既有成年人也有小孩......

在这之后，这些骆驼会被卖到旅游项目中去。还有一些骆驼还会被卖掉取肉。

在吉萨和卢克索，很多被用于骑行的马都有痛苦的带血伤口，尽管如此，他们还是会被迫继续拖运游客。

很多动物的脸上鲜血淋漓。

这些马面容憔悴，肋骨凸出，被反复呵斥、鞭打。

当这些被Birqashs市场出售的骆驼不能再用于骑行项目后，他们就会被送回到该市场，随后被送到屠宰场杀掉......

所有选择骑行动物的游客，都是在给这一切痛苦买单。All the tourists who chose to ride these animals, they actually paid for animal's pain.

Many horses used for rides in Giza and Luxor were seen with painful, bloody wounds yet were forced to continue to cart tourists around.

The eyewitnesses also observed screaming camels who were viciously beaten with sticks by men and children at the Birqash Camel Market before being sold to the tourism industry.

It's time for these animals to have a better life, one that's free of suffering. This cruelty to animals can easily be remedied by banning horse-drawn carriages and camel rides.
