9月8日，由中华人民共和国文化部、陕西省人民政府主办，陕西省文化厅、西安市高新区管委会、丝绸之路国际演艺联盟、西安青年美术馆承办，西安高新第二学校支持的第四届丝绸之路国际艺术节•现代艺术周开幕暨丝绸之路现代艺术中心揭牌仪式在西安高新区永阳公园正式启动。

On September 8th, hosted by the Ministry of the PRC and the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province and organized by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture, Administrative Committee of Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, Silk Road International Performing Arts Association, Xi’an Youth Art Museum andsupported byNo.2 School of Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, Modern Art Week of the 4th Silk Road International Inaugurated and Silk Road Modern Art Center Unveiled the nameplate in Yongyang Park in Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone.

丝绸之路现代艺术中心是丝绸之路国际艺术节联合丝绸之路国际演艺联盟共同设立的综合性艺术中心。本中心将秉持“和谐、创新、合作”的丝路理念，为丝绸之路国际艺术节驻地创作项目提供全方位的支持，场馆设施免费向各联盟成员单位开放使用；为丝路沿线国家艺术团体及演艺联盟成员间搭建交流与合作的平台；为陕西各地文化艺术的创意发展，展演及传播提供相关支持；为大众文化艺术生活创造更多公益性惠民服务。

Modern Arts Center of the Silk Road is a comprehensive arts platform jointly established by Silk Road International Arts Festival and Silk Road International Performing Arts Alliance. The center will stick to Peace, Harmony and Cooperation, spirits of the Silk Road,and will provide overall support for projects created for Silk Road International Arts Festival and its facilities will open to the members of the alliance for free.It will establish a platform for the exchange and cooperation between art groups and members of the alliance of countries along the Silk Road; it will provide wide support for the development, performance and spread of local cultural creativity and create more public benefiting servicesfor cultural and artistic life of the mass.

本中心坐落于西安市永阳公园内，总面积1500平方米，包含艺术教室、非遗空间、美术馆和丝路艺术家驻地工作室等多个活动空间。

The center is located in Xi’an Yongyang Park, occupying 1,500 square meters, including art classroom, space for intangible cultural heritage, art gallery and resident studio for Silk Road artists.

作为第四届丝绸之路国际艺术节专题活动之一，现代艺术周的内容包括剧目展演、艺术课堂、舞蹈马拉松、现代艺术产品邀请展等四部分。

As one of the special activities of the 4th Silk Road International Arts Festival, Modern Art Week covers four sections including Drama Performance, Art Classes, Dance Marathon and Invitation Exhibition of Modern Artistic Products.

其中，剧目展演有来自德国、乌克兰、斯洛文尼亚等国家和地区的专业艺术团体的现代舞、打击乐、魔术杂技等现场展演；艺术课堂将由国内外知名艺术家开展各具特色的艺术互动讲座；舞蹈马拉松将为新生代青年原创现代舞作品提供展示平台；现代艺术作品展将集中展示当代最新的艺术作品，于9月8日—21日在西安青年美术馆正式展出。

In Drama Performance, art troupes from countries and regions like Germany, Ukraine and Slovenia will conduct field exhibition show such as modern dance, percussion and magic acrobatics. In Art Classes, artists in Master Class will conduct interactive artistic lectures with unique features. Dance Marathon will provide a platform for the youth of the new generation to show dances they composed themselves. Invitational Exhibition of Modern Art will be focused on exhibition of most creative art concepts. The exhibition will be held from September 8th to September 21st in Xi’an Youth Art Museum.

中国元素，国际表达，传统文化，当代对话。陕西省政府相关部门领导，来自马其顿、美国、保加利亚、捷克、斯洛伐克、格鲁吉亚、阿塞拜疆、中国等国的艺术家，丝绸之路国际演艺联盟各成员单位的代表出席了现代艺术周的开幕仪式，并在现场为丝绸之路现代艺术中心揭牌。

There are elements of China, International expression, traditional culture and contemporary dialogue. Relevant leaders from the government of Shaanxi Province, artists from Macedonia, the United States, Bulgaria, Czekh, Slovakia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and China and representatives from members of Silk Road International Performing Arts Allianceattended the opening ceremony of Modern Art Week and unveiled the nameplate for the Silk Road Modern Art Center on the site.
