do as one wishes 隨心所欲

I don’t want my children to be bound by all kinds of rules. I hope that they can do as they wish.

我不想我的孩子們被各種規矩束縛，我希望他們可以做自己想做的事情。

follow one’s inclinations 隨心所欲

inclination表示意向、傾向。

follow one's inclination就是放任自流，隨心所欲

Living in this small village, I don’t need to care about others’ opinion any more and I can finally follow my own inclinations.

住在這個小村莊裏，我再也不需要在意別人的看法，終於可以隨心所欲了。

follow one’s own bent 隨心所欲

bent在這裏是名詞“愛好、嗜好”的意思。

follow one's bent就是憑愛好做事，和上面的follow one's inclination相似。

I don’t want to worry too much and I just follow my bent.

我不想操心太多，只要隨心就好了。

do whatever one wants 暢所欲爲

Only when mom is on a business trip can I do whatever I want.

只有當媽媽出差的時候，我纔可以暢所欲爲。

in a slipshod way 隨心所欲

slipshod ['slɪpʃɒd] adj. 潦草的；穿著不整潔的；穿著踏跟鞋的。所以in a slipshod way帶有貶義的感情色彩，指草率的、潦草的。

You have to follow the instructions when working as a team, rather than do it in a slipshod way.

團隊合作的時候你應該遵從指示，而不是草率行事。

at will 隨心所欲，任意

Nobody is allowed to violate rules and regulations at will.

任何人都不能隨意違反規章制度。

have one's own way 隨心所欲

Elena always has her own way to make friends.

艾琳娜總是按照自己的心意交朋友。
