Hey what’s up fans, have you been following the recent NBA news? One of the most dramatic, or should I say, melodramatic ones is probably Carmelo Anthony joining the Houston Rockets.

Rockets fans have been cravingfor Anthony so badly that they can’t even sleep.

A lot of them actually believe that Carmelo is the final piece of puzzlethat the Rockets need for a championship. However, I would like to raise an argument here. Is Carmelo that perfect for the Houston Rockets? What good things or bad things will he bring to the table?

So Imma give you a couple factors or reasons first and you guys are totally free to add on to the list. So first, on the bright side, Carmelo Anthony is an elite scorer. He has been averaging 25+ or 20+ for many years and has won a scoring title once. He can be a safe third option, or even a second option in some games, releasing the burdens for James Harden and Chris Paul.

But, on the other side of the coin, one of the biggest concerns people have on Carmelo is actually his defense. He has never been known as a good defender. Last season, the Houston Rockets got really close to defeating the Golden State Warriors. And one of the biggest reasons they could actually do that was their defense. Whether Carmelo is gonna fit into the Rockets defensive system remains a question.

So here we are. We have a pair of pros and cons. Anthony is a good scorer, however, his defense may not be as good.
