这里的“someone type”是指“某人的菜，或者是某人喜欢的类型”

说到这个又让我想到了“one's cup of tea”不仅仅是字面意思“一杯茶”那么简单，它还有“某人喜欢的类型”，也就是指“某人的菜”。

你不是我的菜。

I'm afraid you are not my type.

恐怕你不是我喜欢的类型。

场景一：

这里Peggy和老公解释，分手后经历的长痛、短痛和取舍问题，这里有一个很好的句式：

通常用来指相反或矛盾的两个事物。Peggy还说了一句：

这个表达方式源于古希腊神话宙斯为了惩罚普罗米修斯盗天火而制造的第一个女性，其名潘多拉，她打开了众神送的神秘小礼盒，释放了愤恨、瘟疫等。
