I had a field trip in the Environmental Theme Park of Suzhou River Mengqing Garden last Saturday, on April 20th.

The narrator guided us to visit Mengqing Museum, browsed through the documentary, and told us many stories about Suzhou River.

I learned that hundred years ago Suzhou River was very clear, but later it became black and smelly because of a long-term sewage discharge of industrial wastewater and life garbage.

Through over twenty years’environmental management, Suzhou River became clear once again.

It was a very meaningful field trip,

and I am looking forward the next extracurricular activity.
