飄逸、靈動的外立面 —— 以少勝多，美如畫！！

lacime建築事務所設計了位於中國蘇州市相城區的新規劃展廳。該項目位於高鐵蘇州北站東側，每年流經蘇州北站的客流量達上億量級，高鐵進站前減速，正好將展示中心盡收眼底。蘇州有着“風物雄麗爲東南冠”的美譽，因此建築師的目標是設計一個簡單純粹的方形建築，以補充獨特的場地位置。

lacime architects has designed the new xiangcheng district planning exhibition hall in the city of suzhou in china. the site is located in the east of suzhou north railway station making it a visible landmark to the billions of passengers who flow through the railway station every year. suzhou has a reputation of having the most majestic scenery and architecture in southeast china, therefore the architect has aimed to design a simple yet powerful form to complement the unique site location.

新展廳的外立面對於lacime的整體設計至關重要，其最顯着的特徵是外立面飄逸、靈動的效果，寓意爲“大幕拉開”。建築外觀的形狀是建築設計的出發點，靈感來自一種叫做馬林巴琴的樂器。爲了產實現這一效果，外層幕牆由豎向構件組成。

the facades of the new exhibition hall are essential to the overall design by lacime architects with the most notable characteristic being the elegant and dynamic effect of the facade which appears as a ‘rising curtain.’ the shape of the outer appearance of the building is in fact inspired by a musical instrument called the marimba. to create this effect, the outer curtain wall of the facade is composed of vertical components which allow this form to be produced.

建築的高度對整體設計尤爲重要，因爲它的高度與高鐵上的人視線齊平。至於景觀設計上，建築師採用水池來倒映建築和外立面優雅的弧形輪廓。lacime建築師的思路是做一個點，整而不散，讓其成爲城市地標，視覺焦點！

the height of the building is particularly important to the overall design as it is designed to be in line with those on the high-speed rail. as for the landscape, the architect incorporates pools of water to reflect the building and the elegant curved profiles of the facades. the concept by lacime architects is to design a building that becomes a new landmark and visual focus, and with this elegant exterior the new exhibition hall achieves this goal.
