近日，中共中央宣传部、文化和旅游部等五部门联合印发了《关于加强新时代文艺评论工作的指导意见》（以下简称《意见》）。意见指出，弘扬中华美学精神，开展科学的、全面的文艺评论，推动社会主义文艺健康繁荣发展。

Chinese authorities have issued a guideline to strengthen literary criticism in the new era to promote the healthy and prosperous development of socialist literature and art. The guideline, jointly issued by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and other three departments, calls for scientific and comprehensive literary criticism that carries forward the Chinese aesthetic.

文艺创作和评论如车之两轮，鸟之两翼，彼此借力，相互砥砺。近年来，文艺界一手抓创作，一手抓评论，文艺评论工作迈入新阶段，机制、平台、形态、人才等方面建设均有了新气象。不过，文艺批评仍是文艺工作中的薄弱环节，美言好话多、直面问题少的现象依然存在。

《关于加强新时代文艺评论工作的指导意见》提出，加强新时代文艺评论工作，建立线上线下文艺评论引导协同工作机制，建强文艺评论阵地，营造健康评论生态，推动创作与评论有效互动，增强文艺评论的战斗力、说服力和影响力，促进提高文艺作品的精神高度、文化内涵和艺术价值，为人民提供更好更多精神食粮。
