Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin will step down as CEO and president, respectively, of Alphabet, the internet giant's parent company announced on Tuesday. 互聯網巨頭谷歌的母公司Alphabet本月3日宣佈，谷歌聯合創始人拉里·佩奇和謝爾蓋·布林將分別卸任Alphabet CEO、總裁職位。

Google chief Sundar Pichai will take over as CEO of Alphabet. 谷歌首席執行官桑達爾·皮查伊將兼任Alphabet首席執行官。

Page and Brin will remain on the company's board of directors.佩奇和布林將繼續留在公司董事會。

"We've never been ones to hold on to management roles when we think there's a better way to run the company. And Alphabet and Google no longer need two CEOs and a president," the pair wrote in an open letter about the management change. 北京冬奧會招募志願者

Beijing is launching an 18-month global recruitment drive as it looks to hire about27,000 volunteers to work at the 2022 Winter Olympics. 北京2022年冬奧會即將啓動爲期18個月的全球志願者招募活動，共計劃招募約2.7萬名冬奧會賽事志願者。

The online application system will be available from Thursday, which coincides with the United Nations' annual International Volunteer Day, and will be open to both domestic and overseas applicants. 12月5日是聯合國第34個國際志願者日，屆時，北京冬奧會志願者全球招募網絡系統將向國內外申請者正式開放。

Successful candidates will be trained to assist organizers in 12 job categories specifically during the 17-day Olympics, including international liaison, competition organization, media operation and venue service, according to the organizing committee's human resource department.北京冬奧組委人力資源部表示，入選者經培訓後將在17天的冬奧會賽事期間爲組織方提供對外聯絡、賽事組織、媒體運行、場館服務12個類別的服務。
