中國古陶瓷中存世最少最爲珍稀的應是元代的青花釉裏紅瓷。全世界各大博物館藏元青花有三百多件，元釉裏紅有數十件，而青花釉裏紅僅有三件。而且其中兩件青花釉裏紅是魂瓶（陪葬用）。爲什麼元青花釉裏紅傳世稀少？因爲元釉裏紅呈色不穩定，其暈散特性比青花更甚，若青花與釉裏紅用在同一紋飾上，因暈散而互相滲透含混，其呈色很是難看，所以很難有成品。There are more than 300 pieces of blue and white in museums all over the world.
