編者按：每年春節後都會迎來一波招聘潮，今天我們就來看下招聘過程中的英文面試要注意哪些問題吧~

1.Tell me about yourself.

這是面試問題中的經典頭道“開胃菜”，主要考察求職者的個性是否符合公司的企業文化，所以回答時要儘量貼近這個公司的情況來推銷自己。

比如這個公司屬於汽車行業，那麼你就該回答：“Driving is my hobby. I really love the feeling of running on the road and I take cars as my best friends.”要找到自己跟這個公司的切合點，讓面試官瞭解你適合這個環境。

2.What are your three greatest strengths?

回答這個問題時不可以只是簡單回答：“I’mreally organized, punctual and get along well with others.”簡潔、精煉找到這個公司所看重的特長，是回答這個問題的關鍵。像要應聘金融行業，可以說：“I think my three strongest strengths are details-oriental, patient and cautious.”

但如果應聘者是一個銷售精英，可以說：“I think my strongest strengths are aggressive, hard workingand communicative.”總之，需要考慮到應聘公司及職務的需要來選擇表現自己的優勢。

3.What are your three greatest weaknesses?

老闆都願意找到一個瞭解、熱愛工作，並能夠爲公司創造價值的員工。所以不要很誠實地把自己的毛病都暴露出來，而是要有策略地選擇一些能夠爲自己加分的缺點。比如：“I am a perfectionist and I pay very much attention to details. Sometimes I am quite captious.”

4.Why are you interested in working for our company?

此問題主要考察應聘者是否瞭解這個工作，或者是否真正有興趣，所以需要圍繞整個公司的具體情況，讓面試官知道你很清楚這個公司的運營模式，以及對這項工作非常積極。

建議不要以“It seemed like a good career move.”或是“I haventbeen able to find anything else interesting.”爲開始。

如果能有一些實際回答的話，加分會更多。應聘者可以這樣回答：“Iread an article in the newspaper and was very impressed by ……”但是前提是你必須真的對這家公司作了研究，同時也要注意，不要讓面試官覺得你是爲了討好面試官而言過其實。

5.Why did you leave your last job?

跳槽的原因可能是因爲上一份工作非常糟糕，但面試並不是適合抱怨的場合，而且千萬不要對現有或是過去的僱主或同事進行這樣的評論：“I didntagree with the companysdirection.”“I got no recognition for my work.”“My boss was totally unreasonable.”我建議，要從自身發展的角度出發來回答：“I love my last job and really learned a lot from it, but I need a new platform and bigger space to make my career successful.”

總之，要讓面試官知道，以前的公司在你的眼中並非一錢不值，你是懷着感激來評價他們的。

6.If we hire you，how long will you stay with us?

老闆想知道你會不會像離開上一份工作那樣很快也離開這家公司，你可以回答：“As long as my position here allows me to learn and to advance at a pace with my abilities. ”這樣就告訴老闆，你是希望同公司一起成長，不會輕易地離開。

7.Why did you apply for this job?

你爲什麼應聘這個工作？

回答這個問題的關鍵是，你要多說說對這家公司和這個職位的瞭解，也不是接着介紹你自己。所以，面試之前要做功課，上這個公司的網站好好了解一下背景，對於應聘的職位也要有個基本的瞭解。

【回答範例】

>I really like the job deion and the working duties on this position. I believe to be a perfect match for the job and a potential asset for your team. That’s why I submitted my application. I have similar working experience too…

I decided to apply because I really like the vision of your company and the career growth possibilities. I can use my full potential at this position and help your company to grow and prosper.

8.Can you tell me something about your education?

能說一說你的教育背景嗎？

有些僱主和職位會比較看重教育背景，名校畢業或者MBA學位等資歷可能會加分。但是，如果你的教育背景不是那麼出色，你可以重點講一講你在過去的經歷中學習到的豐富知識，不用在畢業學校這一類事情上太糾結。

【回答範例】

I have studied at ABC University. I acquired knowledge of statistics, project management andprocess management. I was active during my studies and took part in practical projects and courses too. Overall my studies were pretty practical and I believe to be ready for jobof a project manager.

9.Can you tell us something more about your working experience?

你能不能多跟我們說說你的工作經歷？

回答這個問題的時候，挑一些跟目前應聘的職位最相關的工作經驗說一說即可。當然，如果你之前只有一個工作經驗，那麼，無論是否有關都得好好說一說了。

【回答範例】

I have done lotof things in my life. It helped me to gain a good overall understanding of business. From 2001 to 2004 I worked as a project manager for Siemens. We were working mostly on smaller energetic projects, water plants built on rivers. I believe that I can utilize the knowledge and contacts I gained there in your company. I learned how to budget the projects and lead it from the scratchto completion and success. From my other working experienceI can mention my role of marketing manager I hold in CDE from 1998 to 2001 and my freelancing experience from 2005 to 2009. If you want, we can discuss it in detail.

10.Why should we hire you?

我們爲什麼要聘用你？

這是面試中最難回答的一個問題。不過，要是回答好了，絕對能給面試加分。在這個問題上，你還拿出之前自我介紹那一套說辭是不行的，你得把你的“獨特賣點”拿出來，有什麼特質是你用而別的應聘者沒有的？你能爲這個公司帶來什麼明顯的收益？

【回答範例】

I have a relevantexperience and I am strongly motivated to work for your company, as it has always been my dream to work there.

I fulfill all the job requirements. However, I am sure some other applicants do fulfill it too. But I am a nice guy and always try to create a good atmosphere onthe workplace. This helps, especially nowadays, when people are stressed and negative about everything.

I believe that I bring success with me. All the companies where I worked were prospering. It is good to have such a worker in your team, isn’t it?

11.What are your weaknesses?

你的缺點是什麼？

之前的問題，我們都建議你挑出跟工作相關的內容來回答，但是這個問題，建議你挑一些跟工作不太相關的缺點來回答。而且回答的時候，你要突出表達想要儘快改掉這個缺點的意願。這樣的做人態度是僱主們願意看到的。

【回答範例】

I am not very patient. That’s obviously bad. But I am working on it every day, trying to control myself and be more tolerant tothe others. It’s not easy, but I definitely made good progress in recent years.

Sometimes I struggle to concentrate injob. However, I practice every day and my concentration has improved over the years. I try to eliminate other thoughts and focus purely on my job.

I trust people too much. It is nice to live with such feelings, but it caused me many troubles in the past. However, as I am getting older, I can much better distinguish friends from foes.

12.What are your goals in five years horizon?

五年內，你想達到什麼目標？

回答這個問題的時候，千萬不要說自己過幾年想要創業單幹。沒有公司想招個人進來，過兩年就辭職單幹了。所以，回答的時候可以說一說個人目標，自己的職業發展目標要與公司相關。

My goal is to become a better manager and to help my employer to achieve exceptional results as a company.

I want to start a family and have a good job. That’s all I want. I believe that your company is a rightplace to start realizing my goals.

I would like to have a really good job in five years time. However, I understand that firstlyI need to learn a lot and I believe that this position is a perfect start for me.

13. What are your biggest achievements so far?

到目前爲止，你最大的成就是什麼？

成就要遠比經歷重要。我們每個人或多或少都有些成就，只是我們自己沒有意識到罷了。面試中提到的成就可以是生活方面的，也可以是工作方面的。比如，你原來抽菸，但是後來戒了，這也可以說明你的意志力很強。

【回答範例】

I ran marathonunder three hours. I trained for it very hard and it strengthened me both physically and mentally.

When I hold SalesManager job at ABC Inc., the sales grew by twenty percent every year.

I became a better person over the years. I learned to listen to the othersand see the good in people. I consider this as the biggest achievement of my life.

14.What characterizea good boss/ colleague from your point of view?

你覺得，一個好老闆、好同事應該是什麼樣的？

這個問題主要是看看你的情商夠不夠高，能不能在公司裏跟大家和睦相處。回答得太具體，明確表明自己對同事的喜好，並不是一個可取的辦法。最好回答得籠統一些，表明自己性格隨和，跟誰都能相處愉快。

【回答範例】

I can get along with everyone. All I want to be sure about when it comes to my boss and colleagues is that they are qualified for the job we do. When I see the level of proficiency in this interview, I am sure they are.

There is nothing like an ideal boss for me. I simply focus on my job and duties and try to avoid any conflicts with other employees. We are all different and I respect the individuality of each human being.

15.What are your salary expectations?

你期望的薪資是多少？

如果不是面試官首先提出，你不要自己提薪資方面的問題。回答的時候，首先要表明薪資並不是你應聘這個職位的首要因素，如果一定要回答一個具體的數字，那麼一定不要低於你心理的那個預期薪資水平。所以，面試之前還是要做功課，瞭解該職位的薪資水平。

【回答範例】

First of all, salary is not a decidingfactor for me. I really like the job deion and want to get this job. Therefor, I will accept an average salary for this position what is something between $35,000 and $40,000, according to my knowledge and statistics from salaries.com.

16. When can you start the job?

你什麼時候能到崗？

公司當然希望你越快到崗越好，如果你目前還沒有離職，需要一段時間做工作交接，那也要說明白，並且表示你願意儘早到崗的意願。

【回答範例】

I am ready to start as soon as possible.

I could possibly start tomorrow, but I want to finish the project I currently work on. It would be very unprofessional and irresponsible if I left now. I need two or three weeks to finish the work and train colleagues to continue it. Then I can start here.

17.Do you have any questions?

你有什麼問題嗎？

面試過程中一般都會有提問的機會，究竟該問些什麼？首先，崗位職責描述中已經說得很清楚的事情就不要問了，其次，面試過程中已經討論過的也不要問。你可以問一些真正跟這個職位或公司發展相關的問題。
